The owners of TaxMagic have been leaders in the tax preparation industry for over 38 years.

James Fromi, in 1982, developed one of our country’s first tax software programs called TaxByte. In 1987, produced one of the first computer software packages to allow tax returns to be sent electronically to the I.R.S. And in 1989, developed one the country’s first personal, do-it-yourself tax software’s called TaxMagic.   

TaxMagic exists for taxpayers to file their own taxes with simple, walk through questions and electronically file them with confidence to the IRS. Confidence that all credits and deductions have been found before delivering the most accurate return to the IRS. Our tax engine is called 1040.com. We find it to be one of the most thorough and complete tax programs available. Easy and intuitive questions are asked along the way , guiding you through the tax filing  process. 

TaxMagic wants to change the game of online tax filing with TurnTaxesIntoMagic!  We commit $6 of every filing fee to charities, big and small. “we will commit a portion of every tax filing fee to charitable causes across the country.  With over 40% of all Americans filing their taxes online, we hope to be able to donate millions of dollars through our Turn Taxes Into Magic campaign.  

TaxMagic’s owners have been able to donate, to date, over $350,000 to the United Way to help fund health and Human services.

Before you begin to file, you will be asked to select a charity.  We will donate $6 of every $25 filing fee.
